We need your help to keep our community fed!
Our friends at Pine Acres Community Center have been busy serving as a youth feeding site for the Wake County Public School System since mid-March. The Pine Acres Community Center is based right here in Fuquay-Varina, North Carolina and is currently feeding more than 1,000 area children every day. When Josh and I heard about the work being done at Pine Acres, we knew we had to help. We have stepped out in faith and have committed to providing 100 loaves of our Sandwich White bread to the Community Center each week.
In addition to supporting the meal distribution program at Pine Acres, we also donate leftover bread at the end of each day to The Fuquay-Varina Emergency Food Pantry. But as this crisis continues, more and more people in our community are in need of food.
How can you help?... The “Give a Loaf” Program.
The "Give a Loaf" program is an easy way for the community to join us in this commitment to giving and community care by paying forward the gift of food. If you are able and willing, please consider making a donation to our "Give a Loaf" program today. For $3.50, you can feed someone in our community. Our hope is that this program can help us not only continue but increase our donations to both The Fuquay Emergency Food Pantry and Pine Acres Community Center as they service the most vulnerable in our community. Because, no one should go hungry in a community that cares.
