Counter Associate & Barista:

Job Description: Responsible for educating and assisting customers with bread and pastry orders, filling Special Orders, taking Custom Cake orders, and preparing espresso and coffee beverages. Other responsibilities include opening and closing duties, register, and cleaning checklists.

Skills: Must have excellent customer service skills and a positive attitude, have an eagerness/willingness to learn, be able to excel at working independently or as a team, have excellent time management skills, be an effective communicator, and be organized and detail oriented. Candidate must also be physically able to lift 50 pounds and be capable of standing on his/her feet for up to 8 hours.

Hours: Average 15-30 per week. Position requires availability and flexibility for early mornings, mid-day, closing, weekends, and holidays.

Artisan Baker:

**Please note: This position is an overnight position. Typical shifts run from 4pm to 2am. Shift duration is based on product demand.

Experience in an artisan bakery focused on ‘scratch production’ is definitely a plus.

Job Description: Responsible for weighing ingredients, scaling dough, shaping dough, using commercial mixers, loading and unloading the oven.

Skills:  Candidate must be highly motivated with a sense of urgency and the ability to work independently, quickly, and efficiently; must be organized, mature, neat and team-oriented. Applicant must also be physically able to lift 50 pounds and be capable of standing on his/her feet for the duration of the shift. Flexible schedule and reliable transportation a must.

Hours:  This is a full-time, long-term position. Position requires availability and flexibility. Weekend and holiday availability a must.

Pastry Baker:

**Please note: This position begins at 2am.

Job Description: Responsible for portioning and baking a variety of pastries including scones, muffins, sweet rolls, and cookies.

Skills:  Candidate must be highly motivated with a sense of urgency and the ability to work independently, quickly, and efficiently; must be organized, mature, neat and team-oriented. Applicant must also be physically able to lift 50 pounds and be capable of standing on his/her feet for the duration of the shift. Flexible schedule and reliable transportation a must. Previous kitchen experience a plus.

Hours:  Averages 12-18 hours per week. Position requires availability and flexibility for early morning, weekends, and holidays.
